Michael is the child of Bill and Carol Mast. He grew up in Liberty, IL with his family which included his older brother Andrew Mast, Michelle Morrissey, and younger brother Daniel Mast. Michael was well known for being Liberty's star basketball player. He graduated in 2015 from Liberty High School. Michael is currently employed by UPS and enjoys working for Hugenberg Farms. In Michael's free time you can often find him riding his dirt bike or four-wheeler, coon hunting, fishing, spending all of his money at Harbor Freight, and spending time with his favorite four-legged friend Train.

Lauryn is the child of Jeff Sheurman and Laura Urbanc. She grew up in Quincy with her siblings Ashley Tarpein and Justin Sheurman. Lauryn attended Quincy Senior High School where she graduated in 2017. Lauryn has received her Associate in Sociology, Bachelors in Psychology and will receive her Masters in Social Work from Mizzou in May of 2024. Lauryn currently works at the Quincy General Assistance office. In Lauryn's free time you can find her spending time with her family, going for walks, and talking everyone's ear off on the phone.

We met in the spring of 2017 riding four-wheelers in Liberty, IL.

On a family trip in Pensacola Florida, Michael got down on one knee and asked Lauryn to spend the rest of her life with him. Lauryn said YES!!!
