Shuttle Service will transport guests starting at 1:05PM from the Sheraton to the Ceremony, from the Ceremony to the Sheraton (for a one-hour break), then from the Sheraton to the Reception.

Our Wedding

Lauryn and Jackson met in law school at WVU, where they started out as best friends. Before their friendship started, Lauryn made her infamous cake pops for their law school class and brought them in to give to everyone. After a morning torts class, Lauryn thought she had passed out a cake pop to every member of her class, and she left the classroom. Little did she know, however, a very disappointed Jackson stayed behind in class, waiting for his turn to receive a cake pop and watched as Lauryn skipped right past him, making him the only one to not get one. Lauryn didn't learn this until months later, when it came up in conversation. To this day, she feels guilty about skipping her sweet-treat-loving future husband. The two eventually ended up becoming friends after attending a church service at the same location one Sunday. The two of them and a mutual friend went to lunch after the service, where they became great friends and spent almost everyday together. The coming semester the two realized that their friendship was something deeper, and they couldn’t spend a minute apart. From then on they have been inseparable. They have traveled the world together, graduated law school together, passed the bar exam, and are now taking on their next journey as young lawyers in Charleston. Jackson proposed on October 24, 2024, at West Virginia Botanic Garden in Morgantown, WV. They will be married on November 29, 2025 and will honeymoon in Hawaii at Disney's Aulani resort!

Please use the link to reserve rooms with the Sheraton in our hotel block. We will have a block of rooms at a discounted rate until October 29, 2025. The Sheraton is the closest hotel to our reception venue, but feel free to explore the many other options Pittsburgh has to offer. In addition to its proximity from dining options in Station Square, the Sheraton is within walking distance (0.7 miles) to the Duquesne Incline, which will take guests up Mt. Washington, dropping them off near the reception venue.

We are providing a shuttle service to transport guests to each venue location. Shuttle service will transport guest from the Sheraton to the Ceremony, from Ceremony back to the Sheraton, from the Sheraton to the Reception venue, and then will run during the Reception to transport guest back to the Sheraton. Please check back to this page closer to the wedding date to get exact times of shuttle service runs.
