Blake and Laycie truly have a story for the books! Starting way before they were ever together. Blake had his heart set on Laycie for months before she ever thought of being in a relationship with him. He called her his wife at Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter. He even proposed to Laycie on Easter with a ring pop just for laughs. Then fast forward to April 20th, 2024. They had been texting back and forth for a few weeks and he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. Ever since that day their love grew bigger and stronger. He knew he was going to propose about a month after they became a couple. On July 20th, 2024 Blake was getting ready to ship out to basic training for the Army. His family threw a party that was thought to be for his going away. Little did Laycie know Blake had some big plans for that day. He had everyone in on it. His sister, cousin, and close friend pulled Laycie aside and while she was distracted he walked up behind her and got on one knee, ring in hand, with her son who was wearing a shirt that said “Mommy, will you marry my Blake?” Of course she said yes! There are so many stories in between all of these times that could be told and every one of them shows the love so strong between these two. From the dirt road riding stories to the letters from home to the Army base. Every single moment of their story just as special as the next. Laycie and Blake can’t wait to celebrate the love they share with the people they love most.
