Living on two sides of Lake Tahoe, Layla & Josh were living parallel lives. Layla in Truckee, working in the emergency department and as an EMT in a mountain clinic gearing up for PA school. Josh in South Lake, also working the same two jobs and planning his PA school applications.

On a serendipitous Friday night while Layla was visiting her best friend in South Lake, their paths briefly crossed leading to a planned date the following week.

After realizing they were possibly the same person, with a shared love for the mountains, climbing, skiing and pizza, the two soon became inseparable embarking on what would end up to be the greatest adventure of their lives.

Just 6 months into dating, Layla got accepted into PA school in Idaho and Josh decided to take the leap and move across states together.

Nearly six years, two master's degrees and a second bachelors thrown in there, a mortgage and a puppy later we are finally ready to embark on the greatest adventure yet.

We couldn't be more excited to share this next step with all of our closest friends and family!
