Layla and Ayanna met in 2015 during their freshman year of high school while they were both trying out for the flag football team. Layla was immediately captivated by Ayanna’s outgoing and friendly personality. The two became fast friends and were glued at the hip for the next four years until Ayanna went to study and cheer at the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!!). Every weekend in high school consisted of a sleepover, a trip to Universal, or Layla tagging along to Ayanna’s cheer competitions. In 2015 when Layla needed a friend most Ayanna was there <3 They consider themselves to be more than just best friends, but rather as lifelong sisters.

Sky is the first friend Layla ever remembers making in her life! When her family moved to Florida in 2004 Sky was there as the neighborhood welcoming committee. Their friendship as bratty little kids was always hot and cold but finally hit its stride around 2010/2011 when the best friendship was solidified once and for all. Sky and his family moved to Hawaii in 2012 and since then their friendship has only been strengthened by constant effort to see each other as much as they can. Layla has had the immense pleasure of visiting Sky in both Hawaii and San Francisco, where he now lives. Their friendship hasn’t changed in 10+ years in the best way possible. Every time they meet again it’s all laughs and they pick up right where they left off.

Ciara is the built in best friend: A sister. A kind, soft spoken, intelligent person who Layla is lucky to call a sister. More than that she is also the reason Layla can call herself an Aunt to the ring bearer and flower girl and boy. Growing up Layla would terrorize Ciara for fun but to make things equal Layla would be exploited for back scratches until Ciara fell asleep. Layla has always admired Ciara’s ability to juggle a full time job as a tenured librarian at Valencia and the hectic life that comes with three kids. Ciara is the reason Layla loves scary movies, Taylor Swift, and Twilight. Three things Layla holds dear to her heart.

Angelina and Layla became friends their junior year of high school by trauma bonding from Dr. Tyree’s anatomy class. Their favorite past time together is having legendary tea spilling sessions while exploring the West Orange Bike Trail or kayaking/paddle boarding at the Springs. Angelina is always down for an adventure of any kind. One thing Layla admires about Angelina is her ability to have a crazy night out and then somehow be a perfectly functioning member of society by 8am the next morning. She is the best of us and a true asset to the wedding day.

This one honestly could have stood on either side! Taylor and Mitchell have been best friends for over 17 years, growing up directly across the street from each other. The two had many fun times together: bouncing tramp in the backyard, eating cups of crushed ice, and watching Vine for hours on end. Taylor is one of the most personable and easiest people you'll ever talk to. She is a great listener and knows how to keep a conversation going. And, she is one of the most driven people you'll ever meet. She has aspirations to marry Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, have 12 million dollars in her bank account, AND win a Golden Globe award. She also knows how to make you laugh as she is one of the funniest people you'll ever meet. In recent years, Taylor and Layla have become extremely close, kicking Mitchell to the backseat… where he belongs.

Mitchell and Carlos have been friends for over 7 years, meeting right as Mitchell was coming out of his senior year of high school. These two began their journeys together into the stunt world, using each other as practice dummies for fights and learning how to throw shoddy front handsprings. Carlos and Mitchell lived together for over 3 years, and have shared many incredible memories. Mitchell thanks Carlos for putting up with the growing pains of becoming a first time roommate (sorry about all the pots and pans at 7 AM buddy). Carlos is a trusting, loyal, wise, and selfless friend, a person you can both laugh and cry with. To Layla, she describes him as "the little brother she never wanted", despite him being older than her. Mitchell is honored to call Carlos his best man!

Ah yes, where do we begin with Ruben? Honestly, Ruben is another one that could have stood on either side (him and Taylor are quite interchangeable with one another). Ruben and Mitchell have been friends for over 10 years, playing football and wrestling together throughout high school (see above photo for Ruben's "wrestling" face). Mitchell and Ruben have been through a lot together, despite all the stress Ruben has put on Mitchell for his lack of time management and jaw-dropping life experiences. Layla and Ruben became friends more after high school, and have had many... crazy adventures, let's call them. Ruben is a loyal friend, and is the guy that's always down for anything and everything. We are both lucky to have a friend like Ruben in our life!

Sean and Mitchell first met each other back in 2019 when Sean went through a stunt camp that Mitchell was coaching. Sean, a kid from a small town in West Virginia, was interested in becoming a stuntman. A then 18 year old Mitchell - who was just getting into stunts himself, still lived at home rent-free, and hardly knew anything about the "real" world - somehow convinced Sean to move away from everything he knew to Florida and pursue a career in stunts. And man, is Mitchell glad he did! When Sean moved down, he, Mitchell, and Carlos trained together for several months. For those first months, Mitchell and Carlos weren't sure Sean knew how to speak. He was such a quiet and shy individual - a huge departure from the Sean we know and love now. Sean eventually came out of his shell, and showed us the strong, assertive, loyal, and hilarious person he was inside! Mitchell is so proud of how far Sean has come as a performer and as a person.

Chris was the first person that Mitchell told when he was going to ask Layla to marry him, and even was kind enough to keep the ring at his place for safe keeping. That's because Chris is one of the nicest, compassionate, and understanding people you'll meet in your life. He's the person you can confide in whole heartedly knowing what you talk about stays between you, always giving great advice and insight when he can. However, don't let his "nice guy" persona fool you, as he has a dark sense of humor that only the real ones get to see. In his past time, he pretends to be assistant to the lead at work where he spends most of his days doing useless busy work and pranking the actual lead. He also takes the mantle of the "most beat up Indiana Jones" at the stage since he's hurt all the time, and is also incredibly mediocre at fantasy football, even though he thinks otherwise. Even though Layla was the one that requested to have Chris stand on Mitchell's side, Mitchell is still pretty glad he asked him.

Wiggins and Mitchell first met at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in 2018. Wiggins had been at the show for almost 10 years, and Mitchell was just starting out, but both of them shared one thing in common: an undying love and respect for that show. What started out as a shared passion for the show blossomed into a friendship Mitchell is grateful to have. Wiggins and Mitchell are "yin and yang" or "fire and ice" to each other; Mitchell settling Wiggins down when he gets too amped up, and Wiggins doing anything he can to get a rise out of Mitchell. The two have shared many laughs together, and it is the kind of friendship where just a look or small gesture is enough to tell a thousand words and get the laughs going. Wiggins is trustworthy, honest, loyal, and stubborn as all can be, and Mitchell is lucky to have him as a friend.

Mitchell and Layla knew exactly what they wanted in their ideal wedding officiant. It had to be a person close to both of them that is well-spoken, charismatic, funny, and kind. A person that is good at speaking in front of others, perhaps with a background in performing for over 18 years with a double major in musical theatre and dance. And once they couldn't find that person, they asked Mitchell's brother instead.

Samson is one of the sweetest kids you'll ever meet! He is kind and caring, a truly great big brother to his little brother Knox and little sister Charlotte. Layla and Mitchell both knew Sam would be the perfect person for the job of ring bearer.

Knox is the epitome of a middle child. He's silly and mischievous, and can make you go from wanting to pull your hair out to rolling on the ground with laughter in seconds.

Queen Charlotte may be the only potential competition that could steal focus from the bride on the wedding day. She is cute as a button and eloquent as royalty.
