It all began at Jonathan's restaurant on February 23rd, 2024, where Nate and Layne first met through a group of friends. What Nate didn’t know was that the group had been plotting to set them up for months—so naturally, Layne avoided eye contact the entire night. Fast forward to March 9th, when a girls’ day out led to the groups crossing paths again. This time, Layne finally looked Nate in the eye... and the spark was instant. Their first official date came on March 27th, and from that point on, they were pretty much inseparable. That spring was full of milestones: meeting each other’s families, blending friend groups, and saying “I love you” for the first time on May 2nd. One of their favorite traditions began later that year on August 9th, 2024, when they took their very first photo booth picture together at Stones River Mall. Little did Layne know, exactly one year later—August 9th, 2025—Nate would propose in that very same photo booth. Over the years, they’ve shared countless memories: a beach trip with friends, cheering at a Texas Longhorns game, celebrating holidays together, and exploring new cities. But through it all, their favorite part has simply been laughing together and growing as best friends. Now, they can’t wait to begin their greatest adventure yet. On March 28th, 2026, Nate and Layne will say “I do” and start the next chapter of their story—building a life, a home, and someday, a family.
