You could say Layne and Zach’s story began way back when they were just 5 years old, playing T-Ball together. They shared the same friends and went through school side by side. But—believe it or not—they hardly spoke to each other, outside of maybe two classes, until their senior year of high school! Layne, always known for being loud and talkative, remembers trying to start a conversation with Zach during their junior year. But Zach was far too shy. Then, senior year rolled around, and fate (with a little help from the alphabet) sat them next to each other in class. Lucky for Zach, Layne talked his ear off every day—and from that moment on, they never stopped talking, teasing, and laughing together. Then came COVID, which turned their senior year upside down—but they got through it, together. After graduation, Zach went off to play baseball at Trinity University in San Antonio, while Layne attended Texas A&amp;M. Despite the few hours of distance, they made it work and cherished every weekend they could spend together. Once they were finally back in the same city again—this time in College Station—Layne was accepted into the Disney College Program and packed up for a six-month adventure in Orlando. Even more time apart. But the distance only made their relationship stronger and proved just how committed they were to their future together. Fast forward to today: they’ve both graduated college and are now officially taking on the real world, side by side. From childhood and high school, through a pandemic, college life, and long-distance challenges, they’ve grown up together. Still two peas in a pod—perfectly balanced and ready for whatever comes next—Layne and Zach can’t wait to start forever. With love,The Future Freshcorns
