It all began over two and a half years ago when Ethan and Leah came across each other on Hinge. Whether it was Leah's friends convincing her to put herself out there or Ethan's mom convincing him to buy more likes, it all worked out in the end. Leah and Ethan instantly started talking and decided to meet at a local Irish pub for their first date. After that night, Leah and Ethan were relieved and excited about what was to come. Leah then thought it was a great idea to Invite Ethan to Kahunas for their second date where he met her entire family. Looking back it was probably not a great call, but it did not scare Ethan away. After the first few months, Ethan had a laundry list of weddings to attend and Leah happily went to them with him. After they both realized they were both enjoying each others company so much, they then went to Charleston, North Carolina and Texas about 4 or 5 times in just one year. It is safe to say Leah and Ethan knew from the beginning they both got extremely lucky and had hinge to thank for that. After just 2 short years, Ethan popped the big question on Leah's birthday at PGA national resort. We are so excited to celebrate with you all!

Jack and Ethan have been best friends since the 7th grade. Ethan had to change schools due to "disciplinary issues" and Jack welcomed him with open arms. Since then Ethan was accepted into the Aubel family as the 3rd (and best-looking) son. As Ethan went to Alabama and Jack went to Oklahoma to step in at starting quarterback they remained insanely close frequenting each others campuses, and spring breaks. Recently, Ethan officiated Jack's wedding. The shoe is now on the other foot and Jack will be required to host a TED talk to the entire congregation on the effects of nuclear isotopes on the native Fiji Ground Frog of Micronesia. He has no idea this is happening but since no one reads these we might as well get it in writing. If you are trying to figure who Jack is look for the large mammal probably asleep in an obscure position near the Hors D'oeuvres.  Jack is 6'3 209 pounds has a 36" vertical leap and can't spell restaurant. 

Jack Aubel

Marie is Leah's cousin, best friend, and Kudus Aunt. They have been inseparable since birth only being 3 weeks apart. Marie and her family moved just a mile down the road from us and it was the best experience having your cousin and best friend a couple of minutes away. Only having one girl cousin made it easy to become so close with Marie, but I would've chose her as my best friend regardless. Marie, who Ethan affectionally calls "Brother" was the first to let Leah know Ethan was the perfect man for her. Leah knew from the start that Marie would be her maid of honor and I can't wait to share this special day with Marie by my side. Love you moe!

Marie Yacopino

Permann and Ethan were fraternity brothers at The University of Alabama. They lived together for years and somehow had a similar enough schedule regardless of Permann being pre-med and Ethan failing basic math. They traveled to Nicaragua together and built homes for villagers, brought them Christmas and evaded a civil war. They were seen together across campus as "Mutt and Jeff" as Permann is about a foot taller than Ethan. Permann being a doctor is the one stop shop for all Ethan's questions as he does not trust traditional western medicine. Permann is about 12 feet tall, likes long walks on the quad, drinks too much Red Bull and is very proud of his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin. Ladies he is taken so please keep a 6 foot perimeter of the good Doctor.

Austin Permann

Casey is Leah's oldest sister and has been someone Leah always was trying to be cool enough to be considered her friend. All through childhood, Leah was volunteering to be it first for hide and seek, begging to watch tv with her and always asking to borrow her Juicy Couture sweatsuits. Casey and Leah are now extremely close and see eachother almost every weekend. Leah is a proud godmother to her daughter Gigi and is very lucky to spend so much time with her. 

Casey Antonaccio

Rodgers and Ethan were Fraternity brothers at the University of Alabama. They lived together for years and were inseparable members of the under 5'10 club. They grew close while pledging and became honorary parts of eachothers family. Ethan spent easter and thanksgiving with the Rodger's in college and Rodgers because the 7th addition to the Burley clan come Christmas. Always armed with a chuckle, a story and a point of view Rodgers navigates life in a different realm as you'd be hard pressed to find a bad word about him. (Tennessee High School Sports Hall of Fame Football and Baseball) (4x Intramural Champion) (Would of been recruited by Nick Saban if he was 6 feet tall) 

Joseph Rodgers

Maggie and Leah are only a few years apart and always have been close over the years. Maggie has always done whatever she wanted to do. Starting off by cooking in restaurants at 16, moving to San Francisco, and then settling with Cody and June over in Charleston. Although Maggie is not in FL with the rest of the fam, she is always a phone call away to help me with the newest recipe I want to try. Thank you mags for being a great sis and standing up to Casey for me when we were little<3

Maggie Ward

Ian and Ethan met before college started and got their bids to the fraternity together. They became fast friends and perpetual roommates. Starting as sleeping on Ethan's couch freshman year for an entire semester to 3 years in Birmingham Ian was never too far away. Ian and him got the full experience of the bliss of college life into the buzzsaw that is "work". As time moved on they both stepped away from Birmingham and I'm sure Mak and Leah are equally excited they are no longer roommates. Please ask Ian as many financial questions as possible and don't be afraid to refer to him ask Skiian due to his incredible prowess on the mountains.

Leah struck gold by gaining Natalie as a sister-in-law. From the start, she was so welcoming and very easy to get along with. I think everyone knows that when you marry someone, you are also marrying their family and I couldn't be any happier knowing I get to call Natalie another sister. Thank you Natalie for being so sweet, and kind, and cheers to us becoming family!!

Disco Dunnagan Motta and Ethan have been friends since high school, previous co-workers, and share an affinity for sales culture. For years Ethan's college friends did not believe Dunnagan existed for the simple reasons, his name sounds fake, and Ethan would introduce himself as Dunnagan Motta to anyone he know he wouldn't talk to for more than 5 minutes. Luckily that never came back to bite either of them. In the last few years as Ethan moved back to LHP Florida and they picked up where they left off. Dunnagan is a jack of all trades being a professional crossfit trainer, stock trader, dietician, jockey, handicapper, and currently works for GV Industries as assistant to the founder. He will be giving his rendition of the National Anthem at 9:14 PM EST Saturday Evening.

Katy and Leah had an instant bond when Leah was introduced to the friend group when they found out their shared love for french bulldogs. Fast forward 2 years later and Katy has grown to be such an incredible friend to Leah. She is one of the most genuine people Leah has ever met and truly has been such a huge help with wedding planning. From sending me countless dress options to her weekly check-ins, Leah is extremely lucky to have Katy as a friend and a bridesmaid. It is no shock they had an instant bond and Leah cannot wait to continue a life long friendship in this next chapter. Love you Katy! 

Katy Motta

Freddy and Ethan have been friends since high school (I'm sure you are seeing a pattern here) and recently have become roommates as Ethan and Leah experience the wonderful world of house hunting. Freddy is by far the nicest person you will meet in your life. Armed with wit, smarts, athletic prowess, and NFL running back sized calves he will crack you up and provide sound financial strategy over a cold Modelo and the echos of Zach Bryan's most recent album. Fred is an incredible friend and a better person who always thinks of others first. Freddy will be walking down the aisle with Ethan's sister Addison, which, if you know her will be Addie's dream come true and an interesting dichotomy of worlds. (He is also afraid of spider monkeys) 

Freddy MacLean

Addie is truly one of a kind and is one of most of the funniest people Leah has ever met in her 26 years. I realized very quickly after meeting Addie that it was going to be very easy to become family with her. Even though Addie is currently living in London, it is always a treat when she is in town and we get to hangout. Everyone who knows Addie can agree that she is the life of the party and I can't wait to have her as a bridesmaid. 

Addison Burley

Big Joe Sprauer and Ethan have been buddies since college. Sprauer and Ethan traveled to Nicaragua together on mission trips, almost got arrested in Destin, and solved a pretty big knife situation. Sprauer has been a great friend to Ethan over the years and a helpful tutor as well. It is not a well kept secret of Ethan's academic shortcomings but with friends like these he couldn't help but succeed. Years ago in Nashville the group lost track of Sprauer so Ethan went off on his own to find him walking blocks aimlessly, Ethan never found Big Joe that night but did find a group of very well dressed muggers in an alleyway off church street. Joe was enjoying a cold beverage at the bar next door. If you mix up all of the groomsmen somehow know that Big Joe is the tall cornfed looking guy with a laugh that will make any joke 12% funnier. His hair will probably look....wet to the touch.

Joseph Sprauer

A couple years back Leah was introduced to Michelle through her brother in law, Luca. Luca and Michelle go way back, but I quickly gained a friend as well. Michelle and Leah have a special bond over touchtunes, zach bryan and an occasional football chat (even though shes a chiefs fan). Michelle is always a good time and is someone who will show up for anybody when they need them. Although I refuse to download tiktok, Michelle keeps me in the loop all things trendy and makes sure I am up to speed on the latest tiktok scoop. I am very lucky to have gained a friend like Michelle and through all of our differences about NFL teams and taylor swift we manage it very well. Love you Michelle and goooo birds (: 

Michelle Calderon

Henry and Ethan's beginning was a common one. Meeting in a sophomore year Spanish class, taught by a German who served Canadian coffee and was an amateur pin up girl. They became fast friends as they shared interests; Lacrosse, bad jokes, obscure clothing selections, and verbally abusing their closest friends and family. Henry and Ethan were inseparable in High School and shared countless memories that would run off this page. As Luck would have it work would bring Ethan back to Lighthouse Point from Birmingham and they picked up right where they left off. As the years go by and Henry got married, had a kid and presumably matured whenever Ethan and him are in ear shot of eachother their combined IQ drops below room temperature. As many know you may grow older but as a man you never really get past 15. Henry and his family have been an extension of Ethan over the years and he owes a great deal to them all. Henry and his wife Yasmine welcomed Leah in with open arms and brought her into our dysfunctional family of friends. Henry is also incredibly afraid of spiders and cannot conceptualize string theory. Do not listen to any of his "Locks" and buckle up if you find yourself discussing the history of Triple Crown Winners.

Leah was lucky enough to be introduced to Nikki through Ethan's roommate, Blake. From the start Nikki was so easy to get along with and we instantly became very good friends. Every single person in Nikki's life has the same  thing to say about her. She is so kind, giving and selfless. I am so excited to have Nikki as a bridesmaid and even more excited to have gained a lifelong friend. Love you lots!!
