Leah and Gilson started their relationship as friends and co-workers at Abercrombie and Fitch back in 2017. They became the best of friends, sharing a mutual love of music and humor. They would always sing along with each other to whatever song that was playing and laugh when the other would sing a song with the wrong lyrics. No one would have ever known that they would end up falling for each other. Gilson tried very hard but it wasn’t until a year after when they began dating on Leah’s birthday. After a few years of getting closer, and overcoming major obstacles, they both wanted more out of their relationship. Leah had began her career as a veterinary assistant and Gilson wanted to start his career in law enforcement. He amazingly got a call from the Virginia State Police and Leah supported him all the way. Before starting the academy Leah would always joke around with Gilson, letting him know that before he steals her away from New Jersey that he would have to, in her words “put a ring on it” before they moved anywhere. Little did Leah know, Gilson was planning the engagement the entire time. Gilson had told his friend to call her and ask if they can be models for a project that he was working on for school and of course Leah agreed with only one condition. That they were able to keep the photos that he had taken of them so that way she could decorate their apartment. Gilson’s friend took them to a beautiful garden because Gilson had mentioned that Leah had loved roses. After a few shots around the garden, they ended up at a canopy where Gilson then popped the question and after many many tears Leah, without hesitation, said yes. The rest is truly history! Now living in Virginia with 2 fur babies, Alfonso and Luna. They are so incredibly excited to celebrate their love with you on their wedding day!
