We met at a mutual friend's house during a UFC fight viewing party on pay per view on September 19th, 2020. Seth's friend mentioned he worked at PRMC. We both instantly started talking about where we work. Luckily, Seth asked for my number the next day!

After a few days of texting back and forth, Seth asked if I wanted to go out for dinner and drinks. We decided on Market Street Inn located in downtown Salisbury. Our first date was on September 26, 2020. Which is also Seth's parents' wedding anniversary. He came to my house in Fruitland to pick me up for our date wearing a Disney button down shirt. I knew at that moment; he was going to be special. We spent the date talking about our love for Disney World and the places we have traveled. After that date, we started hanging out weekly, whenever our schedules allowed, as I was still in school working at the hospital, and he was also working nights at the hospital.

We started officially dating on October 18, 2020. The first year that we dated was full of adventures. We traveled to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA for both of our birthdays. Seth brought me home to meet his family in Cecil County in December of 2020. In May of 2021, I graduated from Salisbury University. To celebrate, Seth and I traveled to Disney World for a week. We moved in together during the Summer of 2021. Towards the end of the summer, we also took a trip to Maine to visit his family's cottage on Beal's Island. In the fall, we ventured to Boston, MA to watch the Celtics take on the Bulls. After a full year of dating, we celebrated our one year anniversary at Kalahari Resort in the Poconos.

On April 14, 2023, Leah and I went on a hike to Turkey Point Lighthouse. I had spent the past couple months planning the engagement and the celebration trip to Disney. I was able to surprise Leah with having some close family members surprise her right after I proposed.

Disney World was definitely an important aspect of the beginning of our relationship. It is not easy being able to find someone who is just as obsessed with Disney and can tolerate all the Disney talk. This is especially important with both our families loving Disney. We have had many Disney trips together alone, as a couple, and some with friends, cousins, and immediate family.

We are planning to extend our Disney travels to Disneyland California and Disney's Aulani resort in Hawaii for our honeymoon.

When Seth and I first started dating, I had my black cat Luna living with me in Fruitland, MD. We planned to move in together the Summer of 2021 and Luna was of course joining in on the move. I knew it was meant to be when Luna let Seth pet her the first time he came to my house. If you know Luna, you know she has some sass problems.

The first of June week we had gotten our keys to the townhouse. In that same week, my uncle had found a black male kitten. I decided to bring the kitten to our new house to syringe feed him formula. Seth reluctantly agreed to adopting this new cat but decided he would name him Link after the game Legends of Zelda. Unfortunately, Link passed away in February of 2023. He lived a very spoiled life thanks to Seth and me.

Fast forward to November of 2021, my uncle had found a white male cat with two different colored eyes. Seth reluctantly let me accept this cat into our home. He is a beautiful, friendly, a big kitty named Loki. He loves tummy rubs, sitting in the windows, and the laser.

In August of 2023, we decided to expand our cat family when I stumbled upon a sick black and white kitten at Panera Bread in Salisbury. Seth was at work that night and I sent him a video of me holding up a sick kitty saying "sorry". Well, Lucy is now obsessed with Seth, and she will always pick him over me.
