<p>Anyone who knows us knows neither of us love going out- we really love being in the comfort of our own home.&nbsp; One night in October 2015 my friends finally convinced me to go out.&nbsp; We met up with another group of people that I had never met.&nbsp; After hanging out with them for a little while, Travis walked in and sat next to me.  Turns out, his friends had convinced him to go out as well.  I'd love to say it was love at first sight and the rest is history, but that would be a lie.&nbsp; If you know Travis, you know that he does everything at his own pace- incredibly slow.&nbsp; He lives by "slow is smooth and smooth is fast."&nbsp; My friend gave Travis my number at the end of the night.&nbsp; A few nights later, he texted me some lame joke and then implied we should go on a date.&nbsp; Well, we talked every single day for a month before he actually set a date.&nbsp; The date went well and we made plans for a second date.&nbsp; From there, we talked every single day and hung out whenever we could.&nbsp; After six months, we had a super awkward moment where Travis sat me down and said he'd been thinking and maybe we should date.&nbsp; (Wait, we weren't already dating?!)<br>Since, we have become inseparable.&nbsp; We love hiking, cooking, playing with our baby (Linus), traveling, drinking wine, sitting on our couch- anything as long as we're together.<br>On September 21st, Travis planned the BEST surprise for me.&nbsp; We woke up early and drove to Milwaukee landing at a skydiving place.&nbsp; He is deathly afraid of heights, but he's known I have always wanted to sky dive.&nbsp; His plan was spectacular- we'd skydive and then he'd propose.&nbsp; Well, the weather didn't cooperate&nbsp;and the sky diving was cancelled last minute.&nbsp; We had to reschedule for a few days later.&nbsp; Instead we went to an apple orchard, a winery, and then picked up dinner and headed home.&nbsp; We got home and I was getting dishes when he interrupted me saying "What is this?" holding up a little black box to which I said I don't know and went about my business.&nbsp; He then got down on one knee and proposed.&nbsp; It didn't go as he had planned but it was cute and awkward just like him.&nbsp; When I asked him why he didn't wait until we went skydiving in a few days he said "because I thought it was still a good day."&nbsp; It is true, every day we have together is a "good day." &nbsp;</p>
