To make a long story short,

Both Jason and Leah noticed one another when they started Nicolet Bible Institute in August of 2022. Neither made a move at first, but during winter break Jason started reaching out to Leah. They started getting to know one another, and started dating in March of 2023. They went on lots of double dates with their close friends, and hung out as much as they could after their school work and serving at camp. They finished out their school year in May and served at summer camp together.

When camp ended in August, they started (kind of) long distance. Jason stayed in White Lake for his internship at camp, and Leah went home (Appleton) and lived with her parents for a few months. In January, Leah came back up to White Lake in January of 2024 and started her internship.

On June 11th, Jason proposed to Leah by bringing her coffee (her favorite thing) and taking her for a walk by the river (her favorite place). If you doubt their excitement, she started designing the invitations that afternoon and he secured the venue within 24 hours. They are so grateful that you would come to their wedding to celebrate and support them!
