Here is the schedule of events we will guide you on to help you see a bit of Ireland. These will lead up to the weeding. Feel free to explore Ireland on your own if you prefer. We just want you to feel comfortable navigating the country and maximising your trip here with us. The events with us are planned from Sunday to Thursday leading up to weeding. Feel free to come to as little or as many as you want. Just let us know you will be joining us before hand so we know to wait for you.

Sunday August 20

1. Kilmainham Goal - 10:30 am

We will begin with a trip to Kilmainham. Kilmainham is a great place to start because it gives you the history of the revolutionary movement and will help you understand some of the national historical sites a bit better. (7 Euro for adult/15 for family)

2. Guiness Storehouse 2:00 pm

We will have a quick lunch and then head from Kilmainham to the Guiness Storehouse. You can have a pint and see some great views of the city. (20 Euro for an adult)/48 for family)

3. St. Patrick's Church and Christ's Church 5:00 pm

We will end the day by heading over to two historical churches in city centre. After this, we will head for a pint and a bite to eat. You do not need to go inside to appreciate these sites, but if you choose to its ( 5 Euro for adults/15 for a family).

Monday August 21

1. Trinity College Dublin 10:30 am

We will give you a proper insider's tour of the school. You will see the Book of Kells and the Old Library. They are both spectacular. (10 Euro for adults)

2. St. Stephen's Green 12:30 pm

We will have a nice picnic lunch right in St Stephen's Park.(free!)

3. The National Library and Muesum 2:30 pm

The reading room in the library is stunning, but the bog bodies in the muesum are even more fascinating. (free!)

4. The Library Bar 5:00

After lunch, we will head to a great pub right in city centre called the Library Bar.

5. Merrion Square and O'Donoghues 7:00

We will head to another great park called Merrion Square, where you can say hi to Oscar Wilde. Then we will grab a pint and listen to some trad music at O'Donoghues Bar.

Tuesday August 22

1. The Burren , the Cliff's of Moher, and Galway 8:00 am - 10:00 pm

We will take a long journey outside of Dublin to Clare, where you can see the Burren and the Cliff's of Moher. We will need to coordinate driving, so please let us know if you want to join. If you rent a car yourself, we can all drive up together. It is a full day trip to get there and back to Dublin.

Wednesday August 23

1. The Botanic Gardens and the Gravedigger's Pub 1:00

After a long day, we will meet after lunch to have a nice day tour of the beautiful Botanic Garden's.After, we will stop into Alex's fav for a quick drink. (free!)

2. The GPO and Henry Street Shopping 4:00

We will head to the historic GPO where you can take a quick look around before heading out to do some shopping. This is great to buy those gifts for people at home.

Thursday August 24

1. Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfall 9:00 am

Powerscourt is about 40 minutes outside Dublin. It a beautiful garden with a waterfall just 10 minutes away (driving as Jen will tell you :). We will spent the day here and head back into the city around 6:00. (16 Euro for adults/45 for family)

Friday August 25

We will hanging back on this day to prep for the wedding, but if you are looking for a nice easy day, before the wedding, we recommend trying Howth. You can take the Luas or the bus there and it is well worth the trip.

Howth

Howth is only about 20 minutes from Clontarf Castle. It has a great walk or a drive if you prefer. You can see some amazing views of the coast. More importantly, you can get some amazing fish and chips in the town centre.
