Our Story
Zane and Leah's Story
Zane and Leah met at First Baptist Church in Proctorville back when they were in elementary school, but they did not really start to get to know each other until early in 2020. They started texting over the quarantine. When the quarantine was ending, Zane asked Leah to "hang out" with him. So, on June 18th, 2020 they went disc golfing together and then ate at Chick-fil-A. On July 12, 2020 they made it official when Zane asked Leah to be his girlfriend and she said yes. After almost 3 and a half years of dating, Zane got down on one knee and asked Leah to marry him on October 14, 2023. The bestest day ever.

I started school at St. Mary's School of Nursing and Zane was finishing his last semester of undergrad. It was our last semester going to school together.

Zane graduated from college with his undergraduate degree.

We celebrated 3 years together.

This was the day before Zane asked me to marry him. I was asking him when he was going to do it on this day and he just told me "so soon."
