Well, it all started with a job interview.

Kyle was hiring at a company in Red Bank. Leah was talked into taking an interview for what would be her first sales role and was told it would change her life (they were not wrong). We both quickly felt how comfortable we were talking to each other. The conversation got real deep, real quick, as we both realized this wasn’t your average job interview. After Leah was hired, we uncovered countless common interests, from nerdy card games to music, family roots, and shared passions.

What started as little moments of connection during training turned into playing Magic the Gathering in the break room, taking lunches together, and meeting at Panera Bread after work to spend more time together. This all led to one very awkward hug at the end of an office Christmas party, where we just didn’t want to let go.

We 100% dated in secret, you know, not to stir up any issues with HR. As we kept discretion about our new relationship, it seemed like other co-workers kept saying things to Leah like:

“So... when are you and Kyle going to go out on a date?” – Samuel Beacham (Bridesman)

or, “So... you know you and Kyle are supposed to be together, right?” – Jamey Hudak (Bridesman)

It was around that time Leah switched departments so Kyle wouldn’t have to be her boss anymore. Shortly after, our relationship was no longer a secret—much to nobody’s surprise.

Our first year together outside of work was filled with moments that shaped the foundation of our relationship. Kyle took Leah to her first live show in nearly a decade, helping her reconnect with her love of music. Leah’s cats, known for their selective affection, quickly chose Kyle as their second favorite person. We also coordinated a dinner with our moms, knowing they’d hit it off—and they did! Later that year, Leah sold her house in Laurence Harbor, and we moved into our first apartment together, decorating our home and starting traditions like our gallery wall—a promise we’ve made for every future home.

Throughout the many twists and turns the last three years have sent our way, we’ve continued to grow together, pursue our goals, and strive to build a foundation of love and happiness out here in the Poconos. As we prepare to celebrate this next chapter with all of you, we can't wait to see what the future holds—together!
