Leah and Chad met while working at Target. They initially worked in separate departments and Leah was not exactly a fan of Chad. To be fair, Chad did not make the best impression when they first crossed paths. When Chad moved to the ‘Style’ department, Leah knew that she was going to be asked to train him. From everyone’s recollection, she said she did not want to be his trainer because he was an “asshole.” Lo and behold, she did end up being Chad’s trainer.

During one of her morning coffee breaks, a friend wrote a number on a coffee cup and said she should text the number, as the person had a crush on her. Leah debated not even bothering, but eventually did send that text message. It was Chad, if you haven’t figured that out yet.

Except, Leah did not think Chad had a crush on her and actually did not even realize that their first date was a first date until a couple days before. Chad asked to ‘hang out,’ never once mentioning it was a date. Leah was only clued in when he mentioned that he made reservations. Because no one makes reservations to hang out.

It was one of the best first dates Leah had ever gone on. Chad took her for ramon, to Bloomfield’s Little Italy Days and even shotgunned a beer, which very much impressed her (not a lie)! But from that very first date, they were inseparable and the rest is history as they say.
