Leah and Michael met their senior year of high school in 2014. Michael went to Saint Ignatius College Prep and Leah went to Maine South High School. Leah and Michael were friends until Leah asked Michael to be her date to Homecoming Dance. Shortly after, they began dating and were inseparable. So inseparable, they both ended up going to The University of Dayton, where they spent the next 4 years going to countless day drinks, sorority/fraternity date parties, and r-taco dates. Post college, Leah and Michael both moved back to Chicago, and currently live together in the city. Michael proposed on January 28th, 2023, tricking Leah into thinking she was going to brunch with her girlfriends, as he stood on the Chicago Riverwalk with a dozen red roses. Leah was so surprised by not only the proposal, but the many surprises afterwards Michael planned. Leah and Michael celebrated with an engagement moon to San Diego, CA. Leah and Michael have been planning their wedding endlessly since the proposal, and they cannot wait to celebrate with you all on September 14th, 2024!
