Although the wedding will take place in the suburbs, Washington, DC is only about 30 minutes away! We highly recommend going to the National Mall, either by Metro or car, to see the monuments and the museums. No matter the weather, probably hot and humid, there will be something to do in the area.

Additionally, there are many restaurants to get a late lunch, such as Old Ebbitt Grill next to the White House and Il Canale in Georgetown. However, there are also a number of food trucks on the Mall.
