If wine isnt really your thing head to Carter Mountain and enjoy some of the most delicious cider that Bold Rock cidery can offer along with a rustic farmers market selling all kinds of apple related products. They also have spectacular views of Charlottesville and some fantastic (read as addicting) apple donuts made fresh on site. Sadly not dog friendly, so leave the pooches at home for this one.
