Duluth’s Lakewalk consists of nearly eight miles of paved pedestrian and bicycle trail stretching from Bayfront Park to Brighton Beach (Kitchi Gammi Park), much of it along the Lake Superior Shore. Originally built in 1986 as a half-mile path, the Lakewalk was extended over the years, It was also where the couple had their first date!
