Q + A

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses (long or short) and a suit and tie / sports coat. Please no jeans. For the ladies, wear whatever colours you would like, but please do not wear colours typically reserved for the bride (white, cream, ivory, etc.).

How do I get to the venue?

If you are staying at the Poco Inn & Suites - a free shuttle will bring you back and forth from the venue. **This is only available for registered guests at the hotel**. For locals, or for those not staying at the Poco Inn, we strongly advise you pre-arrange a ride back and forth from the venue as Ubers/Cabs are very limited in the area and we don't want you to get stuck. Pre-scheduled Ubers & Cabs are an option! Parking is available at the venue and you can leave your car overnight, if needed. Please no drinking and driving!

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What type of bar will you be having?

We will be hosting an open bar capped at a certain amount. If this amount is reached, drinks will be available for purchase. (DEBIT/CREDIT ONLY)

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving buffet-style appetizers accompanied by an OPEN BAR. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer and our signature cocktail.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

While the weather is always so unpredictable, last year in September the high was 85*F (29*C) and the low was 55*F (13*C). We recommend bringing a layer for the evenings.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. However, the cocktail area and reception hall will have outdoor patios for guests to get fresh air. The patios are wonderful photo opps too!

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be moved over to the cocktail area, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

If you are staying at the Poco Inn, there will be a free shuttle escorting guests back and forth to the venue. We highly suggest this option for our out of town guests. If you are staying elsewhere or live locally, please ensure you have a scheduled ride home. Cab service (Ubers/Lyfts/Cabs) to the venue may not be an issue, however, they will be very spotty (if any) for your way back home. *NOTE: We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving.

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time. If you arrive late, you will have to wait outside until cocktail hour to prevent any disruption.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Parking is free on-site (and tons of it)! However, you cannot park in the Members-Only section of the parking lot. Please remember, if you are driving, be responsible! We do not want anyone drinking and driving!

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. (If you do have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation).

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Yes! There is an elevator for anyone who needs it.
