We're so elated to have you join us in Oahu for our wedding! We've arranged for a 3-night stay at the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach (4/2 - 4/5) for all our guests, which is fully covered. Please make sure to fly into Honolulu International Airport (HNL) to join us for the celebration.

Nestled just steps away from the iconic Waikiki Beach, this modern, upscale hotel offers an unforgettable Hawaiian experience. With contemporary rooms, a stunning rooftop pool, and a prime location near world-class dining, shopping, and of course, the beach, the Hyatt Centric is the perfect place to unwind before our big day. Good to know: The hotel offers valet-only parking, which runs at $20 per night. We recommend coordinating rental car carpools to avoid unnecessary fees.

Our Itinerary

While we can't wait to spend time with you all during our wedding, there's so much to explore on the beautiful island of Oahu! Here are a few experiences we would love for you to join us for:

Known as the Backlot of Hawaii, Kualoa Ranch is a 4,000-acre nature reserve and working ranch. The stunning landscape of lush valleys and dramatic mountain ridges has served as the backdrop for numerous Hollywood films, including Jurassic Park.

Located in the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, the Byodo-In Temple is a serene and stunning replica of a 900-year-old Buddhist temple in Japan.

We'll be having our rehearsal dinner at Monkeypod Kitchen in Ko Olina, a vibrant spot known for its farm-to-table fare and island-inspired cocktails.

Whether you're looking for relaxation, adventure, or culture, there's no shortage of activities and stunning places to explore on Oahu. We hope you take full advantage of your free time to discover all this beautiful island has to offer!

Hike to the top of this volcanic crater for panoramic views of Waikiki and the Pacific Ocean. Good to know: Upon arriving at the Diamond Head crater, out-of-state visitors are subject to an entry fee. It's $10 per vehicle if you park inside the crater or $5 per person if you arrive via bus/taxi/ride share. The Diamondhead Summit Trail is only 1.6 miles roundtrip, but the elevation can be difficult for some. There are plenty of benches and lookout areas along the trail, and if you go early in the morning, you can beat the heat and crowds!

Visit the historic site of the 1941 attack, where you can explore the USS Arizona Memorial and learn about this pivotal, somber time in U.S history. Good to know: Tickets to Pearl Harbor are completely free if you book far enough in advance. Once you've determined which day you're planning to visit, make reservations for the USS Arizona Memorial at recreation.gov and purchase tickets for additional attractions. Michael and I toured the Battleship Missouri Memorial on our visit and had a blast!

This marine embayment is a natural preserve and one of the best places on the island to snorkel and see vibrant coral reefs and tropical dish. Good to know: You must make a reservation online 48 hours in advance. Lifeguards are always on duty, and water conditions are usually calm. It is recommended to visit in the morning time when it may be less busy, and the waters are clearer. If you drive, parking is $3, and they accept cash only.

Fun fact: Michael and Leai met on a dating app! Their love story began in a bookstore, where their shared passion for reading sparked an instant connection. Since that first date at Barnes &amp; Noble, they’ve explored the world together, built a strong foundation for their future, and pushed each other to grow in countless ways. In August of 2024, on their first trip to Hawaii, Michael proposed in Oahu—bringing their journey full circle to this very special place. Their love for each other, and the memories they’ve shared, have led them to this beautiful day, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
