How should we RSVP? When by?
Click on the RSVP tab on our website above - this will take you through all of the relevant information. Please RSVP by 30th May as we need to provide a final headcount to our venue.
If you would prefer to RSVP to us directly, please contact us via the phone numbers stated on your official invitation.
Shall we bring a gift?
We understand that many of you will be travelling and will be paying for overnight accommodation - your presence to celebrate our special day with us is simply enough, no gifts required.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately due to capacity, we are unable to accommodate any additional guests who have not been named on your official invitation.
Can I bring my children?
Unfortunately due to capacity, we are unable to accommodate any additional children who have not been named on your official invitation.
What time should we arrive?
Guests will be allowed entry to the venue from 12.15. Please arrive at the venue by 12.30 to allow time be greeted and seated.
There will be a bar open for those wishing to purchase a drink prior to the ceremony, but it is worth noting that drinks will not be permitted during the ceremony.
The ceremony will commence at 13.00.
Is there somewhere to wait if we arrive early?
We would advise that you aim to arrive for 12.30 in order to head straight into the venue. If you do arrive slightly early, there is an on-site Cafe, Garden Centre and Gift Shop to explore.
What time should I arrive for the Evening Reception?
Please aim to arrive for 18.30 - our first dance will begin at 19.00
Will transportation be provided?
Unfortunately not - guests are staying at a number of different locations across the area.

Will we be able to explore the gardens?
Yes - the gardens will be accessible for all guests to explore during our Drinks Reception (the gardens will be closed from 16.00). It is worth noting that the gardens will also be open to the general public. We encourage guests to take advantage of this as it really is a beautiful space, and will help to keep any younger guests occupied. Ladies, we advise you bring sturdy footwear!
What is the dress code?
Formal attire please - we’d love you all to dress up with us.
All guests will have access to explore the gardens throughout the afternoon, therefore we would recommend that ladies bring a spare pair of flat/sturdy shoes!
The Drinks Reception will also be hosted in the Italian Garden (weather permitting) so please do bring appropriate outerwear/accessories (sunglasses/fans/umbrellas) if necessary. We kindly ask that guests do not wear trainers or loungewear.
Do you have a theme/colour scheme?
Our colour scheme is champagne, gold and everything in between.
Please don't feel that you have to dress to match unless you want too.
What food will you be providing?
A selection of canapes will be served during our Drinks Reception.
There will be a 3-course sit down meal for our daytime guests - you will select your food choices when you RSVP (please refer to our Menu page for more information).
A hog roast will be served during the Evening Reception, followed by a table of sweet treats.
What about the children?
A snack basket and cordials will available for children during our Drinks Reception. There will be a 2-course sit down meal for children attending during the day - you will select food choices when you RSVP. Sandwiches and chips will available in the evening followed by a table of sweet treats.
Can the venue provide a highchair if required?
Yes - please let us know if you require one.
What if I have specific dietary requirements?
You will have the opportunity to let us know when you RSVP.
Will there be an open bar?
Wine/fizz, beer and still drinks will be provided throughout the daytime. The bar will be open from midday for those wishing to purchase alternative drinks, but please note that drinks will not be permitted during the Ceremony. A cocktail bar will also open in addition to the standard bar during the Evening Reception for those wishing to purchase drinks. Please refer to our Menu page where you will find a copy of the Bar Menu.
Will the bar accept cash?
Yes, the bar will accept cash, card or contactless. It is worth noting that there is not a cashpoint on-site - the nearest cashpoint is located a 5-minute drive away from the venue on Canford Cliffs High Street.
Will there be entertainment or a designated area for kids?
There will be a designated gated softplay area for our younger guests (up to the age of 5) - this will be open from the Wedding Breakfast until the end of the event.
The area will not be manned by a Nanny, therefore Children must be assisted by a responsible adult at all times (PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SOCKS!)
What about the older children?
Various activities will be provided at tables during the Wedding Breakfast. Please feel free to let your child bring their tablet and headphones along too.
Will there be evening entertainment?
Yes! Bring your dancing shoes and your best poker face!
Can I request a song?
We’d love to hear if there are any songs you’d like to party to - you'll have the opportunity to let us know when you RSVP. It might not be possible to play all song requests, but we'll do our best!
What time will the party finish?
Music will stop and the bar will close at 23.30. Everybody will need to have vacated the venue by midnight.
Will we be able to take photos throughout the day?
We would love you to take photos and share them with us via the QR codes that will be displayed on the day.
We kindly ask that photos are not taken during the Ceremony until the Registrar has indicated that it is okay to do so - we will have a professional photographer to make sure these moments are captured.
Can we post photos on Social Media?
Absolutely! But we kindly ask that you wait until we have shared our first photo on social media.
Can we bring confetti?
There is no need to bring confetti, this will be provided on the day and complies with the venues requirements.
Is there a designated area to smoke/vape?
Yes - this is permitted in the Italian Garden until the doors have been locked around 19.00. After this, guests will need to use the courtyard as you enter The Villa. Our Wedding Coordinators will be able to direct you on the day.
Is the venue accessible for wheelchairs/pushchairs?
Yes - there is a lift with access to all three floors of the Italian Villa. The gardens are also fully accessible via ramps.
Does the venue have suitable facilities for babies?
Yes - Baby changing is located by the men's toilets, highchairs can be provided if required, and prams/pushchairs and anything else you may need to store can be left upstairs on the top floor of the Villa after the Ceremony, and can be brought down in the lift as and when required (parents and guardians, you are very welcome to take the little ones up there away from the noise if they wish to rest)
