Children are welcome at the ceremony. However, we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party or immediate family at our reception.
There is plenty of parking within the church parking lot. There is also plenty of parking at Blue Heron Event Center.
We kindly request you arrive to the church 15-20 minutes prior to the start time (12:00pm). This will allow you to find a seat, get settled, and be prepared for the ceremony to begin.
You are of course welcome to attend our marriage ceremony at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church even if you are not Catholic. We would love for you to be present and witness our marriage vows! There will be readings, a homily (preaching) by the priest, and the marriage vows. There will be no celebration of the Eucharist (Communion) at our ceremony. The priest and our information sheet will help to guide you through the ceremony.
Blue Heron Event Center is 10 minutes away from Saint Francis Xavier by car. There will be a fair amount of time between the ceremony and reception, please see the "Things to Do" tab for further information on ideas on what to do in between.
Also called "semi-formal," ultimately, it aims to strike a balance between formal and casual. For an event with this dress code, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress, I.e., a dress that bridges the gap between day and night. Therefore, please do not wear jeans, t-shirts, shorts, or clothing with obscene phrasing or images.
