Leanne and Joey first crossed paths in 2020 when they were both freshmen in ROTC at the University of South Florida. Leanne was drawn to Joey's easygoing nature and good looks right from the start. However, with COVID-19 disrupting everything and them attending different schools, their connection remained more of a passing interest than a budding romance.

Two years later, life had shifted, and both were single and open to new possibilities. On August 25, Leanne decided to invite Joey to her birthday party. It turned out to be a pivotal decision. The two ended up hitting it off on the dance floor, where the mutual attraction they had always felt came to the forefront. They both admitted that they had been interested in each other for a while, and that night marked the beginning of something special.

From there, their bond deepened over shared interests. They quickly found common ground in their love for Star Wars, enjoyed building elaborate Lego sets together, and made a habit of cooking new foods for one another. Not to mention their love for adventure and exploring new places (just ask them about their summer road trip!). Their relationship grew stronger as they navigated life’s challenges side by side.

Leanne and Joey have supported each other through their schooling and new careers, personal goals, and the everyday ups and downs. Their relationship is built on mutual respect and a genuine connection that has only grown over time.
