Our worlds collided in 2012 when both of us were freshmen in college. For me, a Nittany Lion, ready for Penn State football, parties and life long friends. For Luke, a Bloomsburg Husky, ready for nights with the boys and never ending Miller Lite.

It seems as though fate brought us together, and by fate I mean Lauren Del Piano. Luke’s childhood friend and my now college best friend who swore we were a match made in heaven.

As college continued, so did our run ins. Whether it was Luke visiting hometown friends at Penn state and running into me, me visiting hometown friends in Bloomsburg and running into him, or both visiting hometown friends at West Chester and running into each other at same party. It seemed as though the universe kept bringing us together.

As we wrapped up our senior year of college, we both agreed it was time to finally listen to our friends and go on an official date. I think I realized if I wasn’t running into Channing Tatum at the Pub that his doppelgänger would have to do. After a day filled with skeet shooting, sandwiches, laughs and a goodnight kiss that left me with butterflies, I knew this was going to be the start of my forever.

As the famous saying goes, time really flies by when you’re having fun. After 5.5 years of being long distance, graduating OT school, surviving a global pandemic, moving in together, attending 14 weddings (yes, we’re that popular) and baby showers, to our own proposal and now wedding- the adventure always continues!

Saying yes to Luke was the easiest yes of my life. We cannot wait to continue our story and have each and every one of you apart of it.
