In The Beginning:

Henry first met Leanne back in 2014 through a mutual friend on Facetime. Right after their brief introduction, Leanne and Henry hit it off instantly, as both of their values and morals aligned with each other. On the first date, they watched their now favorite movie, The Great Gatsby. It was well known that Leanne and Henry would never be able to be just friends, as they dated on and off throughout high school. One of their friends even called it that they would end up getting married!

2019, The Year They Decided to Give it a Serious Shot:

In September of 2019, Henry reached out to Leanne after some time of minimal contact; due to going to different universities. Before this, the only contact they has was when they would run into each other on the LIRR from Manhattan back to Long Island after a day of work. Henry and Leanne picked up exactly where they left off. On December 16, Leanne went over to Henry's house after a holiday party and from that day on they spent every day together, eventually deciding that they needed to give this a honest shot as adults, which lead them to today!

The Proposal:

July 1, 2023, the day they said yes to FOREVER. Henry and Leanne were on a trip with some friends in Cape Coral, Florida for the 4th of July. Henry had planned to go to a nice dinner with everyone, but little did Leanne know he was planning way more than just that. As they arrived at the restaurant, Henry asked Leanne to go outside with him. In typical Leanne fashion, she questioned Henry on why they were going on this walk without their friends who had flown in from New York, and was completely clueless to what was going to happen in a few minutes. They walked down the stairs hand in hand and onto the beautiful dock that was behind the restaurant, where Henry then got down on one knee and asked Leanne to marry him.
