In 2018, what started as a simple connection over Snapchat quickly blossomed into something unexpected and beautiful. Lee-Anna and Austin found themselves talking more and more, with phone calls evolving into daily FaceTime chats. There was something about their conversations that felt easy—goofy, spontaneous, and full of connection. Even though they lived miles apart, with Lee-Anna on one side of the country and Austin on the other, distance never dulled their bond. They navigated the challenges of long-distance with laughter and an open heart. In May 2019, Austin made the leap to fly over and meet Lee-Anna in person for the first time. The meeting was magical, confirming what they both had felt all along—this was something real. Later that year, Lee-Anna took a brave step, moving across the country to New England to be closer to Austin. The move marked the beginning of a new chapter, not just for their relationship but for her life. Austin became more than just a partner—he became an anchor, someone who stood by her side through thick and thin. During times of loss, when family members passed, Austin’s support extended not only to Lee-Anna but also to her family. He took on the role of an older brother to her siblings, proving time and time again that his love was unwavering. Their relationship is built on a foundation of humor and a “go with the flow” attitude. Together, they find joy in the little things, navigating life’s challenges with a smile and a sense of adventure. Through it all, their love story is one of connection, laughter, and unwavering support—no matter the distance or obstacles they face.

My sister is the kind of person you always hear before you see—loud, outgoing, never short on something to say. She’s been my built-in best friend, the one I’ve always imagined standing beside me on my wedding day, just like we used to talk about growing up. She’s effortlessly funny, a perfectionist in the best way, and somehow turned into my personal wedding planner without missing a beat, and when the celebration starts, let’s just say… She can definitely keep up.

She’s the kind of friend who gives without ever thinking twice—the one whose home always felt like a safe place, whether it was escaping bad weather or just another spontaneous sleepover. A true cat lover with a mischievous streak, she’s equal parts angel and the devil on my shoulder, usually convincing me to join in on just a little more fun. We became instant best friends, laughing through everything, and somehow she not only tolerated all my work shenanigans—but jumped right in with me.
