Zachary and I met in Orlando at Nemours Children's Hospital for our residencies in Pediatrics. He was a year ahead of me in training, but quickly became one of my best friends. We bonded over a mutual patient that we both loved. We also volunteered to work on a research project together for the hospital. We can both be completely honest now and admit that we only joined the project to get to know each other better. Around 6 months after meeting, Zachary asked me to go see a Christmas movie with him on December 11. We have been together ever since! This photo is forever one of my favorites, as it was our first that we took together at Universal Studios!
