Leefe and Baylee met the summer of 2010 at Farwell basketball camp right before they started their second and third grade years. After 9 years of being "just friends", Leefe finally got the courage to ask Baylee on a date. After that day, the two became your typical "high school sweethearts". Baylee graduated in 2020, leaving Leefe behind to finish his senior year at Farwell High School. The two did a great job with the whole long distance thing (even though Baylee was just a short drive away at TTU). Leefe finally made it to Tech and the two got to enjoy college life together. So many memories were made during college together, until eventually Baylee had to move away for nursing school. Long distance started over and the two spent countless weekends making trips to see each other. After a little over a year, Leefe and Baylee realized they never wanted to be apart again. Baylee eventually graduated and moved back to Lubbock, and after a few short months, Leefe proposed. In the past 5 years together, there have been so many memories made and stories to tell, but their love story has only begun. They can't wait to be a family of three with their fur-baby, Camper in May of 2025!
