Our Wedding

Wyatt and I first met at a varsity football game when we were both fourteen years old. We weren’t even freshmen yet, just two kids trying to find our place in a new environment and in the world. I never would’ve guessed that August 19th would become one of the most meaningful nights of our lives, but I’ve learned that the most significant moments often happen quietly and when we least expect them. Wyatt was a JV football player, and I was a JV cheerleader. Our whole group of JV friends usually watched the varsity game together, but that night was different. It was the first time Wyatt and I truly crossed paths. A few days later, he kept trying to reach out to me, and for some reason, I ignored him at first, and trust me, he still brings this up. Eventually, I felt drawn back to him, and we finally started talking. It was a simple beginning, but it became the start of something lifelong. As the years went on, we grew together. We pushed each other to work harder in school, celebrated every little victory, and supported one another through the tough moments. We learned how to communicate, how to be patient, something I’m still working on, and how to show up for each other even when it wasn’t easy or we didn’t completely agree. Every accomplishment, big or small, felt meaningful because we shared it. When Wyatt and I decided to take the next big step, it wasn’t because we had everything figured out. It didn’t feel rushed, it felt earned. Choosing to marry and build our life together, buying a home that would hold our future memories, came from trusting the Lord and the path He laid before us, believing faith would guide us when certainty couldn’t. We trusted each other too, knowing life won’t always be easy, but completely sure that every challenge will be worth it if we face both the good and the hard together. We know we’re young. We know the world is big, unpredictable, and sometimes intimidating. But we also know that God brought us together for a purpose. Our age doesn’t define the strength or depth of our commitment. Every step of our journey has felt guided, intentional, and full of meaning. As we step into this new chapter, marriage, a new home, a new city, we invite you to join us as we begin the next part of our story. Please join us on June 27th, 2026, as we become one in God.
