We've listed some cabin rental sites, as well as hotel and B&B choices in the area.&nbsp; However, there many choices for cabins and home rentals on Airbnb&nbsp;and VRBO websites&nbsp;as well as smaller hotels and B&B's in the area so please don't think you have to&nbsp;limit yourself to just the ones we have listed below.&nbsp; &nbsp;If&nbsp;you search and find something but are unsure of the location in relation to the wedding venue, let us know and we'll be happy to help you.

5 miles (10-15 minutes) to Big Canoe, Ga.5 miles (10-15 minutes) to Bent Tree Community, Ga.









10 miles (15-20 minutes) to Jasper, Ga.&nbsp;&nbsp;





15 miles (20 minutes) to Dawsonville, Ga.





15 miles (20 minutes) to Ball Ground, Ga.









28 miles (40-45 minutes) to Ellijay, Ga.









28 miles (40-45 minutes) to Dahlonega, Ga.









We plan on utilizing a shuttle service to and from Big Canoe and possibly the Bent Tree and Amicalola Falls area.&nbsp; Upon discussion with the shuttle company, they suggested if you are staying at Big Canoe or Bent Tree to request areas on the lower end of the properties (the steeper you are, the harder it is for the bus to go).&nbsp; For the Big Canoe properties, request Lower Levels, Laurel Ridge, Buck Skull, or anything in the 400 section.

Some tips and notes

Nicknamed "The First Mountain City", Jasper is located 50 miles north of Atlanta, GA.&nbsp;&nbsp;

If you are flying in, we recommend you fly into Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.&nbsp; From there it&nbsp;is approximately a 1.5 hour drive&nbsp;to the area.&nbsp; There are many routes to take from the airport and if you want to reach out to either Bill or Leigh Ann, they can assist you with determining the best for you.

If you would prefer another airport, the Nashville International Airport is approximately 4 hours away and the Birmingham International Airport is 3 hours away.

If you are driving from Alabama and absolutely hate the thought of driving through Atlanta, guess what?&nbsp; You don't have to!&nbsp; If you want to take highways, you can take Interstates 20/285/575.&nbsp; Or you can take some backroads and enjoy the scenic routes.&nbsp; Either way is approximately the same amount of time.

Another option in the The Big Canoe Neighborhood is Mountain Vista Rentals.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The Big Canoe Neighborhood is the closest option to the wedding site and can accommodate groups of varying sizes. From 1 bedroom to 6, there's sure to be a fit for you.

Not your stereotypical state park hotel. For those that want a more traditional hotel option instead of a full home rental, Amicalola State Park Lodge is the perfect option.&nbsp;Lots of things to do for families and a restaurant onsite. Only a 25 minute drive from the wedding site.
