They first met on a gaming platform called Discord. Chris was playing Jackbox games with his friends, drinking and having a fun time. Leigh had come into the video chat and hung around. She felt that Chris looked familiar and didnt know why. Chris joked with her and called her “Lay” in her Dms the next day. They then talked a lot throughout the next few weeks and Chris asked Leigh on a virtual date. Leigh had asked What would change? Little did she know, her whole life was going to!

Chris asked Leigh out October 5, 2021. They met for the first time in person by driving halfway to see each other on 2/12/22 in Tennessee. He first said “I love you” while dancing to the song “I can’t help falling in love with you.” Leigh also said it.


Leigh visited Texas in July 2022 and met his friends in person and his family and came again to spend Halloween together.

Chris came up in Dec 2022 - Jan 2023 and simulated living together with Leigh for three weeks!

April 2023 Chris and Leigh ended the long distance and started living together.

October 7th 2023 Chris proposed to Leigh when they sang the duet “Love is an Open Door” from “Frozen.”
