What should I wear?

Dress for a Montana winter! The ceremony will be outdoors for a short time, so warm layers, coats, and boots are recommended. The reception will be indoors and heated. Think mountain formal — dressy, but comfortable and weather-appropriate.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Kids are welcome to join in the celebration. There will be indoor activities and space for little ones to play and stay warm while the adults enjoy dinner and dancing.

What time should I arrive?

The venue and bars will be open and ready for arrival at 3:00 PM. Those joining us for the ceremony will head to the nearby private lake at 3:30 PM for a short outdoor celebration before we all return to the venue to kick off the party!

Will transportation be provided?

Yes! We are working on providing shuttles to and from the wedding venue from Chico Hot Springs and Sage Lodge. More details will be shared closer to the date.

What’s the weather like in January?

Expect daytime highs around 25–35°F and evening temps between 5–15°F. Snow is common and adds to the winter magic! Dress warmly, travel safely, and check local road conditions at 511mt.net before driving.

Do I need a rental car?

A rental car is recommended, especially if you’re flying into Bozeman. Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are ideal for mountain driving and snowy conditions.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We’d love for you to be fully present during our ceremony — please keep phones and cameras tucked away. We’ll have a photographer capturing everything and will share photos afterward!

Will there be dinner and drinks?

Absolutely! We’ll have an open bar featuring a signature cocktail, beer and wine, and soft drinks available throughout the evening. Dinner will be a BBQ buffet with plenty of hearty, delicious options to keep everyone warm and full before we hit the dance floor! Vegetarian options will be available.

What kind of entertainment will there be?

We’ll have a live DJ keeping the party going all night! He’s ready for requests, so come prepared with your favorite songs and dance moves — we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on the dance floor!

Is there anything to do nearby?

Yes! Between Chico Hot Springs, Sage Lodge, Yellowstone National Park (via Gardiner), and Bozeman, there’s plenty to explore. You’ll find great food, live music, and plenty of outdoor adventures nearby — from hot springs to skiing at Bridger Bowl or Big Sky Resort.
