Our Wedding

Leighton caught Marcus' eye at the University of South Dakota in 2017 when she was on a college visit. After seeing they had mutual friends, he decided to follow her and then message her. It wasn't until 2018, Marcus finally got the courage to ask Leighton out. They both graduated college, started careers, and travelled together. They even got a dog, Stanley Boy. Finally in the summer of 2022, Marcus decided to propose. He took Leighton to the top of a parking ramp with amazing views and got down on one knee. She said YES! We are so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends in August!
