As a Texas girl through and through, Leila made it super easy for David to pick on her when they first met! Between all the Texas and Aggie paraphernalia throughout her office, David had plenty of ammunition to pick on her! As David likes to say, "Like all boys, you only pick on the girls you like."

Over time, they grew to become great friends and an amazing trial team. The work parents of their section, they ran Section 7 at the DA's office together managing the trials and other employees together. But David moved on to greener pastures and became the successful trial attorney he is today.

In 2020, the two reconnected and have been inseparable ever since. A romance that truly began as a friendship developed into what it is today, true soulmates! They continue to grow as a team in every day life and cannot wait to conquer their new adventure of marriage together!
