Where To Stay
Areas to stay near the venue: There are plenty of places to stay in the Lake Regions of NH, we have recommended a few in some of our favorite areas below. However, there are plenty of other beautiful towns all around this region. We definitely recommend looking around yourselves as well!
Plymouth
Plymouth is a wonderful, quaint, rural town in the foothills of the Green Mountains and close to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. This is where the wedding venue, “The Barn on The Pemi”, is located. This is also where “The Common Man Inn” is located, where we have a room block and will celebrate with the Afterparty in the Boiler Room within the Inn. The Common Man Inn has very cute rooms and great food! We recommend staying here if you are looking for a convenient location that is lovely and peaceful, if you are staying for a short period of time, or if you have access to a car or don’t mind Ubering around to the other towns nearby.
We have a block of rooms for our wedding at The Common Man Inn & Spa and you are able to book within the room block by calling the Common Man Inn (603) 536-2200 and saying you are a part of the Riebe/Opaliski wedding party. You need to call to book and you currently are only able to book for one or two nights, on the 2nd and/ or 3rd of August.
Places to stay in Plymouth (these are just some suggestions, there are plenty of options in the area):

Meredith/Laconia
Meredith and Laconia are cute towns with lots do to, on the beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. They are about a 25-35 minute drive from the wedding venue. We recommend staying here if you are staying in New Hampshire for a longer period of time or are looking for more activities to do, access to the Lakes and places to eat/drink within walking distance. There are several places to stay near Weirs Beach which would put you in the middle of it all.
Places to stay in Meredith or Laconia (these are just some suggestions, there are plenty of options in the area):
Mill Falls at the Lake
Tuckernuck Inn
Best Western Plus Landmark Inn (In Laconia, just South of Meredith)
Holderness/Squam Lake
Is located about 15 minutes away from the venue. This is a quaint town located on Squam Lake, the “Lake” Leila grew up going to and the “Lake” Mark has been going to almost every year since they met. This area is a lot quieter than Meredith, and has less to do, but is the perfect area if you are looking to relax on the lake maybe kayak or paddleboard etc. It is also home to one of Leila and Marks favorite sandwich shops of all time.
