Where and how can I park?
You can park in the Monroe Center Parking Ramp:
37 Ionia Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
The Entrance is on Ionia Ave behind Leo’s Restaurant.
On the first level of the parking ramp (Level A), there is a half wall painted with colorful triangles. That is the entrance that will lead you to the events space where our refreshment hour will take place.
For parking validation, you will receive validation tickets during the refreshment hour and/or reception. When it is time to leave, simply scan the validation ticket in the machine upon exiting the Monroe Center Parking Ramp.
Where is the refreshment hour going to take place?
As you enter the building from the parking structure, there is a long hallway that you walk down. You will see a set of glass doors marked as the "Events Space". If you are entering from the hotel's main entrance, the events space will be to your right. Open the glass doors and the space will be immediately to the left.
The refreshment hour will occur prior to the wedding and will consist of refreshing beverages and tasty hors d'oeuvres!
Are there accommodations for guests staying overnight?
Yes! We have booked a discounted block of rooms right inside our venue at the CityFlats Hotel. Please call the hotel at 616-828-4950 and mention our wedding or book online with group name Havic/Sabanovic and group code BU01G6. Please be sure to book before April 11th, as this block will no longer be discounted after this deadline. Check in will be at 4pm if you do choose to only stay on the night of May 25th. Other nights will not be discounted.
Can I bring my children or other family members?
While we love our little ones and other friends and family, we ask for those people only listed on invitation envelopes to attend. If a name does not appear while RSVPing online, this means there will be no reserved spot for them.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?
Get ready to shine in your most elegant attire! For the gentlemen, this means a classic tuxedo or your sharpest suit paired with a bowtie or tie. Ladies, think floor-sweeping gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses that exude timeless glamour.
What color are the bridesmaids wearing?
The bridesmaids will be in navy blue, but you’re welcome to wear navy too if you’d like. We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident in whatever they choose to wear.
Will there be alcohol served at the wedding?
While we won’t be serving alcohol, we’ll have a variety of delicious beverages for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to toasting with you!
