Our Wedding

It all started in early 2022. Fresh off the mean streets of Chicago, IL, a broke, tired, and depressed Leland decided, "Screw it," and moved down to Austin, TX. After a few months of settling in, Leland attended a young adult group at OneChapel Austin, where he was immediately greeted by some of the best people in the city. After sitting down and greeting people… BAM! The hottest girl in all of mankind walked through the doors and sat right across from him. This girl was none other than the Grace Elizabeth Parsley. Leland instantly became enamored with Grace and wouldn't shut up about her. It also didn't help that all of his newfound friends he was talking to were her brothers and in-laws. After multiple failed flirting attempts and much embarrassment, Leland knew he had to tell Grace about his feelings. One day, after paddle boarding on the cleanest lake around (Lady Bird Lake), Leland decided, "It's Time." While Grace was watching their dear friends the Salazar's apartment for the weekend, a shirtless Leland, with a margarita in one hand and the Salazar's dog Rocco humping his leg, finally mustered up the courage to say, "I like you." The rest is history. After two years of dating, laughing, crying, traveling, and eating way too many tortilla chips, Leland decided once again, "It's Time." On August 30th, 2024, Leland proposed right outside the apartment where it all began. No margarita, no humping dogs, but lots of joy. Leland and Grace plan on getting married in Sedona AZ on January 4th 2025 and then plan on having their wedding reception on February 1st, 2025. They are so excited to celebrate their upcoming marriage with everyone!
