Leland had just gotten out of a relationship, Ethan had been single for a couple months. Leland saw this cutie on Mutual and immediately swiped up on him. They started talking and planned on going on a date. The date finally comes and they decide to go to iHop. The dinner at iHop went great and they both really liked each other. When Leland left Ethan's apartment, Ethan's roommate asked who Leland was. Ethan responded with, "that's the woman I'm going to marry."

After that date, the couple started going steady. 2 months later, Ethan asked Leland if she wanted to go to the Payson temple one morning. Of course, she said yes.
