Q + A

How do I get there?

You can input Meadowlodge Bible Camp to Google Maps or your GPS, and it will bring you right to the camp. For those driving the more old fashioned way, if you come on Hwy 14 or Hwy 21, look for the Birch Bay Ranch signs - they are right next door to us. We will also have L+L signs with balloons out.

What do I wear?

Whatever you are most comfortable in! Simon has been excitedly planning a top hat and tails for months, and other planning on polos and shorts. It looks to be a hot day, so plan accordingly.

What if it's hot?

The ceremony is in the meadow with little natural shade. Please plan on bringing a hat. We will have some small shade tents for those who need it most, as well as paper fans and bottled water in ice. We will also have sunscreen for those who forget theirs at home!

Where do I park?

We will have a parking attendant greet you at the main gate. He will direct you toward the main parking lot or the meadow, where another attendant will assist you with parking.

What is the terrain like at the camp?

It's camp! We'll be moving after the ceremony up to the main camp, and there is a clear but rustic trail to get there. Opt for a pair of comfortable shoes!

Walking is a challenge - how can I safely get to the meadow and back?

You are welcome to shuttle elderly or disabled passengers by car to the ceremony site.

What if it is raining cats and dogs?

Our backup venue is Wetaskiwin Mission Church in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. We will announce it on this page if we have to go to plan B! A small sprinkle will not keep us from camp ;)
