Lena was in the ten week FBI National Academy when Devin was set to graduate from UC Denver, so she flew home for a whirlwind weekend in order to attend his graduation. After a long, hot graduation ceremony, Lena and Devin met up with Devin's parents in the busy quad on campus. After snapping a few graduation photos, Devin got down on one knee in his cap and gown and proposed with his grandmother's wedding ring. After much hugging (and a few tears), Lena, Devin, and Devin's parents were treated to two free bottles of champagne at a nearby restaurant where they celebrated their engagement.

We met through an online dating website. Lena had just joined the site, and was skeptical about meeting anyone for real. But once Devin and Lena matched, they immediately hit it off, and planned to meet on Christmas afternoon for their first date. Devin backed out because it was snowing and he'd been invited to night ski with his friends, and Lena thought it was over. But Devin texted the next day and they set a plan to meet for coffee at Stella's Coffee Shop on South Pearl in Denver. Devin arrived first and took a seat at the back. Lena arrived, sat down, and they talked for an hour! Neither one ever even ordered a drink. Just under a month later, they made it "Facebook Official," and have been flying high ever since!
