Her: It was a dark and cold night in Boston on East campus in the Finard ICU. I saw a dashing young man leaning against a counter calmly waiting for the morning to come. Meanwhile, I was flustered as it was my busiest night yet as a resident. "Aren't you a cardiology fellow? Shouldn't you be busier?!" I scorned, but secretly was hoping this counted as a kindergartner level of flirting.

Him: Who is this cute neurology resident? Why is she so friendly? Let me look her up...

Her: I opened my newly created dating app and there he was! Dapper as ever- I quickly swiped right. It's a match!

Him: I have a cute dog- do you want to meet him.

We then strolled down Newbury street with the puppy followed by drinks at Porto where Lena pretended to know about tequila. This ruse somehow worked as a second date ensued, where Mike cooked. The pleasantries were quickly dropped as Mike scolded Lena's dishwashing abilities and Lena said his salmon was mediocre at best.

They quickly switched roles in the kitchen and became best friends, career advocates, adventure buddies, and each other's better half :)
