Please do not pull into the venue or historical house driveways. Parking for the venue is located along the street the venue resides on (Main and Walnut). Guests are also welcome to park in the gravel lot at Walker Funeral Home. For our out of town guests, parking is free so don't worry about parking along the street here.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside along the Havisham House lawn. If inclement weather happens, the ceremony will be moved into the Havisham House Pavilion. We want to remind out of town guests that Southern Illinois is in a different climate zone than Northern Illinois. Please check the weather as September can still be quite warm.

Check out the "Enjoy So. IL" tab on this website! There are many fun nature inspired activities Southern Illinois has to offer from apple/peach orchards, flower farms, wine trails, nature trails, and lookout points. There is a little bit of something for everyone!

Yes, the Home 2 Suites in Carbondale, IL is hosting our wedding block. This is also where the transportation will be picking up and dropping off guests for the day. The hotel is providing a discounted rate for a limited amount of time.
