Cherisa and Leon met the modern way....on a dating website back in 2019. For their first date, they had dinner and watched the movie Shaft.

Some of their most cherished memories include a picnic date in the park, visiting the Asheville mountains, exploring Vegas, going on a sunset bike ride on the beach, and paddle boarding in the mangroves of Siesta Keys.

Leon's proposal was intimate and heartfelt. He popped the question on Cherisa's birthday after celebrating with friends. He acted like he was giving her a birthday present (shoes), and when he knelt down to put them on her feet, he pulled out a ring and proposed instead!
