Our Wedding

In June of 2019, Hinge recommended that we were a compatible match on the dating app. With a mutual swipe to the right and him sending me a message saying, "Apparently we're a good match," our love story began. In November of 2019, apprehensive about the whole dating app scene, I grew paranoid of his intentions and restless at the infrequency of our dates. He said he wanted to take things slow and really get to know me. My ego took it to mean that he just wasn't that into me. So I decided to take a step back and go on an 'eat, pray, love' journey of my own. Bluntly put, I blocked him. Lol Come January 2020, I was island-hopping in the Philippines, having the time of my life, only to return to everyone in masks. The COVID pandemic had hit, and it was a difficult and uncertain time, to say the least. In July of 2020, I received a Facebook message from Tarsus saying, "Finally, you unblocked me." Lol. Surprisingly, I found myself smiling, happy, and excited to hear from him. Might I have written him off too soon? Was his interest sincere and legit? These questions swirled in my head as our conversations in the coming days, weeks, and months became more frequent. The interest was mutual, and our relationship blossomed. Post-COVID vaccine in January 2021, we introduced each other to our families, and to our delight, the compatibility and similarities were apparent there as well. Fast forward to Christmas Day in 2022, Tarsus got down on one knee in front of my family and asked me to be his wife. Happy tears flowed from my eyes nonstop; he was my answered prayer. Excited to start our life together, we didn't wait long and eloped in January of 2023. We had always known that we would eventually come before God and ask for His blessing of our union before our nearest and dearest family and friends who have been there since the beginning. That time has now come, and we're so excited to share this day with you! Thank you for your continuous love, support, and friendship! We love you all!
