Lesley first met Andrew through his sister, Sydnie—who also happened to be Lesley’s best friend. They had classes together throughout high school, but Andrew was always just "Syd’s little brother" to Lesley. That is, until they started working together at the Jolly Roger.

What began as casual chats quickly grew into a real friendship. One summer evening in 2021, Andrew showed up to his shift with a Red Bull in hand. Lesley playfully asked why he hadn’t brought her one, too. Without hesitation, he ran out to his car and returned with one just for her. Only later did she find out it was his favorite limited-edition Pomegranate flavor Red Bull, which she still owes him. (He still doesn’t let her forget it.)

As the months went by, their bond deepened—they became best friends and eventually, something more. On June 1st, 2022, Andrew asked Lesley to be his girlfriend, then two years later, he proposed!
