Our story is nothing short of a modern day fairy tale. With John living on the west coast and me on the east coast and 3300 miles between us our paths crossing was without a doubt fate written in the stars.
In early April 2022, I was working at an emergency room in Miami, Florida and John was based in Los Angeles working for Delta Airlines. One late night while both working night shift we somehow matched on a dating website. We chatted the night away and immediately found a great connection. Me as a flight paramedic and John as a pilot our love for our air offices was just the beginning of all the many things we had in common. For the next month we talked everyday, many times a day until we finally decided to meet up for a date. On May 11, 2022 late in the afternoon I boarded a plane to Pensacola, Florida for our first date. Did I mention John by complete coincidence was the pilot of said plane? We had the most incredible evening together and have been inseparable since. Despite the distance between us, many, many FaceTime dates, a few years, and a huge move across the country our love continues to grow and our hearts are full…..5 kids and 4 cats full!! With our favorite season in full swing John orchestrated the most perfect proposal and on Christmas 2023 in front of my entire family and with the sweetest surprise John popped the question….the rest is history!!!
