Luau/Mexican Wedding at the Oasis 

<p style="text-align: left;">Here we go! The past year and 1/2 has hit us (or house) hard. We originally postponed our wedding plans due to all of the work we’ve had to put into our house. We’ve realized with a little help from the people we love that we don’t want anything fancy, just a day to celebrate and say WE DO. So come celebrate with us Luau/Mexican style on the last day of summer at Connie and Roger’s Oasis (where we first met).  <br /></p>

Our Wedding

We were kind of “setup”.  More pushed in each other’s direction the summer of 2020. Between the Oasis (Connie and Roger’s pool) and a quick trip to Patoka Lake, we quickly caught on to what others were trying to do. By the end of that summer we were together.  Some may say Leslie “stole” Bill away from the Eastside. His aunt Connie introduces Leslie as the thief who stole her nephew from the compound. But here she is hosting their wedding! Our family of five has a strong passion for Lake Life. We try to get away to Dale Hollow every year. Both of us grew up going to the lake, and is a tradition we are thrilled to carry on with our kids. We get through the cold winters knowing we get to spend the majority of our summers at Bill’s mom and Step dad’s quaint little place nestled on Lake Shafer. Anchor Bay has become our little getaway. Between the lake and amusement park, our family stays busy.
