The couple met Memorial Day weekend in 2019 but that is not where their story began. Leslie had tickets to a Packers game for September 22, 2019 against the Broncos (as most know Leslie is not a Packers fan, they were for a friend). Leslie invited Adam to attend and he declined as it was supposed to rain. Adam then invited Leslie to watch the game at Damn Yankees where they met one of Adams friends. Leslie and Adam were both adamant that neither wanted a relationship and just a friendship. Sometimes the best relationships start as just friends. The friendship grew and soon Adam and Leslie fell in love. In October 2020 at Lake of the Clouds, in the Porcupine Mountains Adam proposed to Leslie and she said yes! The couple decided to purchase a home and renovate it prior to the wedding and in that time they had an addition to the family, their son Maverick.
